What is a Masternode?
A Masternode is a Guap Coin full node (computer wallet) that supports the network by hosting an entire copy of the coin’s ledger in real time. In return, the Masternode will receive Guap coins as a reward. It is a great alternative to mining and a great way to earn Guap Coins passively.
Are there any differences between joining a Masternode pool and owning an entire node?
Yes there are. You have to own an entire Masternode ( self-hosted ) to become a GUAP Governor. Guap Governors have special privileges like voting and eligibility to join the Guap Foundation.
How much Guap Coins can I earn per slot - per day?
Masternode rewards are a purely randomized process. Early in the blockchain they can come daily – but as the amount of Masternodes grow the rewards lessen. This is a great way however to collect some rewards and build up a “GUAP savings account ” over a period of time.
How often can I withdraw Guap Coins?
Guap Coin withdrawals will take place the first week of every month. You will be able to withdraw your full amount of Guap Coins to any Guap Coin address at that time.
How many slots can I purchase?
If you are considering purchasing over 40 slots – its wise to purchase a full Masternode, and you can purchase a fully managed Masternode here.The cost will fluctuate as the value fluctuates (of a total Masternode).
Is my $50 refundable?
Only in the first 24 hours. After 24 hours it is not refundable.
Will there ever be anymore fees?
No there will not, each slot is a one-time fee of $50.
Can anyone participate?
Yes.
Do I need any special equipment or technical know-how?
No you do not, we handle the care and support of all the Masternodes.
